Color (C-41) rolls of film take 1-4 business days to develop and scan. Black and white rolls of film take 2-10 business days to develop and scan. High Res Scans and Extra Large Scans add 1-2 days of processing time, respectively.

Since our film lab is located in our Washington D.C. store, orders dropped off at our Arlington and Burke stores will usually take longer due to extra time in transit.

Same and next-day rush processing is available for orders dropped off in our D.C. store, depending on current order queue. Rush fees apply.
Scans will be emailed to you upon completion. Upon clicking the link, you will have the option to save the scans to your DistrictPix account for unlimited free storage.

Some higher resolution scans (non-jpeg) will be emailed via WeTransfer instead.
We do! Our lab is located in our Washington D.C. store and has professional technicians working during all business hours to get your rolls processed as soon as possible.
Yes, as long as you still have the negatives with you. Please be aware that it is a lot more cost effective to order scanning and/or printing at the time you drop off your film.
Film processing consists of two steps: Developing and scanning/printing. While developing costs ($8 - $11 for color, $12 - $18 for BW) are non-refundable, scanning and/or printing is fully refundable if the film turned out to be blank or unscannable. In this case, please contact the store for store credit.
There are many reasons why a roll of film may not be scannable. Please look for a note file we place within the transfer which explains the reason(s) why your film wasn't scannable.
